We played tourist a little today and visited the home of President Benjamin Harrison, our 23rd president.  It was very interesting and a lovely home.


The front of the house and the LARGE red maple out in front.


The first photo is a crazy quilt that was on his daughter's bed (I think) and the 2nd was made by the ladies of a church and give to the president (don't remember whose bed it was on).  There was no flash photography so some of the photos are dark...sorry.


This was the crazy quilt on the president's bed and one up close photo of a shield in the quilt.


Just a couple of pretty flowers pictures from the grounds of the house.
