I don't think my quilting will ever mean as much to me after the passing of my darling husband. He was so supportive and always had such glowing adoration of whatever I was making (even if I thought it looked like crap!). He never said a word about the $$ I spent on my hobby even though he was stingy with himself where his hobby (golf) was concerned. I went last week to the Int'l. Quilt Festival in Houston and it just wasn't the same. Not sure if I'll ever go back again. In the meantime, I'm trying to straighten out all my fabric, folding and stacking neatly in preparation for moving out of this big house that I now inhabit all alone.
I did manage to get this little Halloween quilt made (though it was a little late and still not quilted). I must shamelessly admit I saw Janet's over at roguequilter.blogspot.com and copied!! My heart is just not into quilting or doing much of anything. Sorry to be such a downer but that is my life right now. :-(
