I'm working on the final QOV for my group which will be a total of 9 (one was already quilted and bound when I decided to do this). This is a very special one for a very special guy which is the reason it doesn't look much like the others.
Sure hope he likes the turquoise-y gray colorway!!
We had a VERY rainy day yesterday and there's a creek not too far from my house that I always like to check after heavy rains. It was near capacity yesterday as we got around 2" of rain.
I love turquoise and grey -- it's a winner!! We have a creek that borders our property that I love to check out after heavy rains. One year, after days of torrential rains, you could actually *hear* the creek roaring down its path! It was way out of its banks then! :)
Love the color combo! We are done with rain, I fear, for the season. At least we are now out of Severe Drought to regular Drought...I hope folks remember that and continue saving water!
This is an awesome Quilt of Valor. I love all the ones you have on your blog. We had a bout of very high water with snow melt and rain and thankfully it has calmed down.
