The end is in sight!

I have one more seam to stitch between the two larger sections and then I'll press and measure.  Then I'll need to decide if I need to add another row or two before borders or if just the border is needed.  This is the final of all the QOV's I need to make.  Then I'll probably dig through my UFO's to see if there's another one or two to tackle prior to starting a new project or just jump into the new.

I'm too lazy to lay out all my individual circle blocks and haven't stitched any new ones in the past few nights but I do know I have over 80!!  That means 2/3's are done.  Need to kick the stitching into gear and get that one done, too.

Yesterday I was involved in an accident and am car-less at the moment (going to get a rental here in a bit).  I had the green light going southbound and northbound left turners were going on a green (but no arrow).  There were 3 that were cutting in close and I began blowing my horn just prior to the 3rd one.  He barely snuck in in front of me but then this idiot behind him (most likely texting and just following the cars in front of her without benefit of checking her light) kept on coming and hit me HARD!!  I took the brunt of it as she hit me on the driver's side but HER airbag deployed.  Thankfully I had 3 guys jump out to check on me who had all been in the turn lane behind her.  One left his name and number as a witness.  I really wanted to beat the CRAP outta her!!!

There are just WAAYY too many people doing things OTHER than paying attention to their driving when they're behind the wheel!!  PEOPLE!  DRIVE when you're in the car and text, talk, read, whatever else when you're at home or wherever  except in the car!

Oh, gosh, I'm so sorry about your car accident and I'm glad you weren't seriously injured. People's behavior sure needs to change. Hope it doesn't take too long for you to get everything settled.

Sorry about your car accident and I'm glad you are okay. I love that you want to beat the crap out of her. It sounds like something I would say. Last time I was in an accident I just started loud talking at the guy who rear-ended me, asking him if he was stupid and such. Then I just rolled up my window because I wanted to beat the crap out of him. Plus he had been drinking and was on his way to pick up his kid(s). Needless to say, we called the police even though it was a minor fender bender.

Love your cross quilt!
The epidemic of car crashes due to texting or otherwise driving while distracted is seriously bad. Glad you were not banged up too badly !
