Its amazing what you'll find when you're cleaning and rearranging your sewing room.  Mine was in a horrible state of disrepair and I needed to remedy that so I kinda started yesterday (this is a multiple day, maybe multiple week job!!).  I finished my Dear Jane YEARS ago and back then had all these stupid ideas of handquilting it (stupid, stupid) and so I had it basted by a longarmer.  I knew it was still somewhere and naturally hadn't been touched since she gave it back to me.  I came across this bag with a quilt and I thought 'what the heck is that'?  It's the Dear Jane!  I tossed it on the floor to take a peek

It's a terrible photo and no clue if I'll need to unstitch the thing before someone could actually quilt it (I'm thinking so and, if that's the case, it will be in the bag for another LONG time!!).  Poor Dear Jane.

Went on a bluebonnet excursion today with a group from the North Richland Hills senior center (yes, I qualify now!).  It was extremely windy but the blooms were still abundant and gorgeous!

Along the way, met up with some of these guys (plus a couple of cute little donkeys) and fed them some grain.  This guy had already taken my offering and was looking for the next admirer with some grub.  Hmph!

Then I spotted my favorite kind of barn--old and falling down.  So cool!
