QOV-DONE (nearly)

I sewed the last rows together and got this puppy in one piece; not pressed but it IS sewn together and that’s a win in my book!).   It would have been an easy one to sew in a single hard day of sewing but that’s not my style, sadly.

Now to get a couple more projects finished.  This one will need a back so I can take it and the other QOV I finished awhile back to the quilter.  These two are going to specific vets and I’m hoping our church group will be able to award these maybe in November.  They didn’t get to do one last time around (they typically do them twice a year).

I’ve been trying to clean up some of the mess I’ve made and came across a few of the ‘cute’ blocks that still needed sewing so got those done as well!  YAY. I’ll post pix of them later.

I got a flu shot yesterday as the senior center was offering them free and I figured that would be the easiest way to get it done.  And I received the results from my most recent covid test—NEGATIVE AGAIN!  This is the 3rd I’ve done and not because I was exposed or thought I could have it.  If they offer testing nearby, I try to take advantage of it.  They have done 2 on me (the up the nose kind..yuck) in conjuction with the covid vaccine trial I’m doing but I’m not privy to the results of those although I bet I would be if they’d been positive!
